The Sacrament of First Holy Communion (First Eucharist) is normally celebrated when a child is in the 2nd or 3rd grade. Preparation classes are typically held in February/March, and the sacrament is celebrated a few weeks after Easter.​
For older children catching up on their sacraments or wishing to become Catholic please contact Ellen Vanden Eykel​.
Children must be in some type of religious formation program in addition to preparation classes for the sacrament.
