ALTAR SERVING

Altar servers assist the priest during liturgies, usually at weekend Masses and occasionally at other times. It is open to boys and girls who have received First Communion and have completed second grade. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Mass from up close while helping the priest and others to pray.

The time commitment varies based on the time of year and each server’s availability. On average, servers tend to serve once or twice per month. The schedule is usually made on a monthly basis.
